Jordan Marshall Commits to Wolverines for Another Season
Following quarterback Bryce Underwood's announcement of his return to the Michigan Wolverines, anticipation grew among fans regarding star running back Jordan Marshall's decision. On January 7, Marshall confirmed his commitment to the Wolverines for another season via social media, sharing a graphic that highlighted Michigan football's upcoming 147th season.
In his post, Marshall expressed gratitude towards the University and its supporters, emphasizing his appreciation for the love and encouragement he has received. Despite facing some injury setbacks, Marshall had an impressive season, accumulating 932 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, along with 92 receiving yards on just nine receptions. He stepped up significantly into the RB1 role following an injury to junior running back Justice Haynes.
With both Marshall and Underwood returning, the Michigan offense is poised for a strong performance in the upcoming season. The Wolverines will begin their campaign with a home game against the Western Michigan Broncos, followed by matchups against the Oklahoma Sooners and UTEP Miners before entering Big Ten play.
